Sushi Island is a modpack inspired by Dave the Diver.

You start on an island in the middle of the ocean, where you run a sushi-go-round.

The modpack features a unique (made from scratch with KubeJS) economics system: You have a fully customizable sushi-go-round where you can freely place seats around any conveyor belt from create mod, and place specific decorations to improve it in the eyes of customers.

Yes, we have real manageable space where customers would pathfind to their seats. From managing customers demands and dealing with dine-and-dashers all by yourself, you gradually unlock various ways to automate your business.

What you earned can then be spent for expansion and progression: A physical market can be visited twice a day where you can buy various resources, seeds, ores, decorations, and most importantly ‘cavern keys’.

This is where the combat system comes to play: the only way (at least in early game) to obtain fish to sell is to hunt them in caverns.

You are given a (heavily changed from base game, with various movesets) trident, not just to hunt down fish to sell; It’s also your only weapon to defend yourself against the threats laying underwater… and to finally slay the Leviathan.

Well, there is indeed a story, where you go from starting a business to finally make Leviathan sushi; There’s also some characters that will appear on your island who play a role in there.
