Survival of the Fit

Remember your first night of minecraft? You probably dug into the ground and waited until morning because you were scared of what the world had to offer. This modpack ensures that experience once again, but almost every night. 

Hardcore Survival was inspired by RLCraft and provides the players a difficult world full of dungeons, newly generated terrain and biomes, and an overall new way to play the game.

Installation:

Download the file and extract the zip file. Open the “Overrides” folder where you will find the “mods” folder. Place this folder in a new and clean version of minecraft forge and launch the instance.

Introduction:

Before you play this modpack, there are a few things you need to know before you load your first world. 

There are two world generation mods, Biome Bundle (my recommendation) and Far From Home (the most demanding of the generation types). If you are on a low-end pc, I suggest playing on a vanilla world or a basic OTG world with no template. 

In order to get tools, you must first find flint; breaking the flint makes shards. Now, break leaves in order to collect sticks to make your first tool, a flint knife. By breaking grass, you can get plant fiber to make other flint tools like a hatchet or pickaxe.

When mining wood, you cannot craft planks, you must right-click on the top of a wood log with a hatchet or axe to get planks. 

Once you have wood and flint tools, craft a tool station, part builder, stencil table, and tool patterns. With this, you can craft real and customizable tools that you can level up and modify.
