The core mods of this modpack are Fungal Infection: Spores and Fungal Infection: Cordyceps. Complementing them are several custom-made mods that grant players the ability to embody the Will of the World. Here, you face a fateful choice: bind yourself to the Hive Mind to command the fungal swarm, or wield the Will of the World to stand against the spreading blight. Perhaps you may even watch all of this unfold as a silent observer.

If you side with the Hive Mind, the Will of the World will send its enforcers, the “Frost Hunters”, to halt your expansion. Should they fail to contain your fungal advance, the Will of the World will plunge the whole world into an Eternal Winter. You must prepare well before the Eternal Winter descends!

If you choose to become the agent of the Will of the World, your existence will be forever tangled with the rot of fungus. Endless slaughter and purgation await you. You will hunt down every trace of the infestation, fighting without reprieve until the world is purged of corruption — or until you fall into the fungal mire yourself.

Should you choose to remain a silent spectator, you will struggle to survive amid the violent aftershocks of the war waged between the Will of the World and the Hive Mind. Neither side will spare you. Caught between encroaching fungal rot and the brutal wrath of the world’s will, you must scavenge, hide, and endure within the wreckage of a crumbling world.
