I can feel there is something in the woods near the edge of my cabin. I used to go out there and relax and get away from everything. But lately the woods have become a scary mystery. I get the strangest feeling when I am out there that everything is waiting or watching for something. I am used to hearing stuff in the woods.

 Sometimes I hear things crash through the woods, sometimes trees or big sticks snap in the woods like twigs. The odd thing about it is the sticks aren’t twigs and the crashes aren’t sticks. They are so loud; it sounds like thunder rumbling through the woods.

The thing I was really scared of was the roar. I have never heard such a deep roar in my whole life. It was loud and powerful, and I wonder if it was a dinosaur. That thought was so dumb, but the roar really was. Not just loud, but powerful. It shook my chest.

The only thing I can think of that sounds like that is a dinobee or whatever they are. Next I saw the shadow. It was huge; I don’t know what it was but it was humongous. I saw it several times out the corner of my eye at the edge of the woods. I saw it several times; it was huge, and I don’t even know what it was. And I heard the footsteps; they were really loud, really loud. It shook the earth when it stepped.
