Sanctuary MC is a Minecraft server-based modpack built on creativity, community, and putting Christ first.

Designed for Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge, Sanctuary MC combines survival, collaborative building, transportation, engineering, exploration, theme-park creation, and ambitious machinery through the Create ecosystem.

Whether you want to establish a survival settlement, construct a working railway, engineer an airship, explore the ocean depths, or build an enormous theme park with friends, Sanctuary MC gives you the tools and community to make it happen.

A Christ-Centered Minecraft Community

Sanctuary MC is openly and unashamedly Christian. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable multiplayer community where Christ is honored and players are treated with dignity.

You do not have to be a Christian to join, but everyone is expected to respect the server’s Christian identity, rules, and mission. We want Sanctuary MC to be welcoming without compromising what it stands for.

Open Beta Game Modes

Sanctuary MC IS NOW IN OPEN BETA!! with two playable modes.

Survival

Explore, build, automate, travel, and establish your place in the world.

Survival combines traditional Minecraft progression with Create-powered engineering, expanded transportation, new environments, machinery, vehicles, railways, ocean exploration, and multiplayer cooperation.

Build a small settlement, develop an industrial operation, connect communities by rail, or work with other players on something much larger.

Builder’s Forge

Builder’s Forge is Sanctuary MC’s dedicated creative-building mode.

Players receive protected building plots where they can experiment with Create machinery, design transportation systems, construct theme parks, test vehicles, and develop builds without normal survival restrictions.

Builder’s Forge is intended for:

Create contraptions and factories
Railways and transit systems
Roller coasters and theme parks
Create Aeroworks aircraft
Large architectural projects
Server-safe experimentation
Schematics and collaborative construction

Plot protection helps builders work confidently while server rules govern aircraft, vehicles, shared airspace, and potentially disruptive machinery.

Coming with the Full Release: Sanctus

Sanctus is a planned persistent living-world experience coming with the full release of Sanctuary MC.

Rather than functioning as ordinary survival or creative mode, Sanctus is being designed around an evolving multiplayer world with cities, businesses, transportation, activities, player progression, properties, events, and community-driven development.

Players will be able to explore and participate in a world that feels active and connected while contributing to its growth.

Sanctus is still in development and will not be playable at the beginning of Open Beta.

Create is at the heart of Sanctuary MC.

The pack is being built around mechanical engineering, moving contraptions, automation, transportation, and machines that players can understand by watching them work.

Take to the skies using Create Aeroworks, design working aircraft and airships, or descend into dangerous underwater environments with Create: Deepseas and its crush-depth expansion.

Aircraft and submarines are not included merely as decorations. They are intended to support exploration, engineering, transportation, and multiplayer projects while operating under rules designed to protect builds and server stability.

Open Beta Notice

Sanctuary MC is an actively developed server-based modpack.

During Open Beta, players may encounter balance changes, modified recipes, replaced mods, compatibility adjustments, resets, bugs, or temporary restrictions. Experimental Create addons and complex moving contraptions may be limited when they present a serious risk to server performance or world safety.

Major changes will be communicated whenever possible. Players should still treat Open Beta as a testing period rather than a finished release.
