Modpack Description

This is a tech-heavy modpack with some magic and exploration/adventure additions mixed in. I have put a significant amount of work into improving mod inter-compatibility, resource harmonization, resource balancing, and to a lesser degree, progression balancing. While there are certainly many combinations that will still be ridiculously OP, care has been taken so that most mods are at least balanced relative to each other. There are also hundreds of additional crafting recipes to reduce the need for Iron in some mods. I am always open to suggestions for new recipe alterations/additions, as well as new mods!

Here are some of the features in this modpack. This list is currently WIP, I will continue to update this.

Automatic Backups run every 60 minutes, and the last 5 backups are stored.

If you are playing and something breaks or glitches bad enough that you think restoring with a backup is needed, you MUST do the following:

1. 1. Exit the server. If anyone else is logged in to the server, tell them to exit the server as well.
2. 2. Notify the discord channel #local-man-ruins-everything so that everyone else knows not to login or play on the server.

If these things are not done, and you continue playing on the server, any backups that get saved will save whatever terrible problem has occurred. If this happens enough times, there will not be a “clean” backup to restore to.

You can process any unwanted seeds into useful industrial ingredients! Check out these machines:

Glowing Mushrooms are a renewable source of Energized Glowstone!

Craft them by combining any normal mushroom with uranium dust in a Phytogenic Insolator.

Use an ‘Akashic Tome’ to store all kinds of books as a single item.

Aluminum can be used in place of Iron in a huge number of recipes.

OpenComputers recipes have been completely overhauled to make use of the huge variety of modded resources.

Immersive Engineering changes

• More ways to craft conveyor belts
• Metal fences and ladders are cheaper to craft
• Industrial Fermenter accepts all Pam’s HarvestCraft crops (some crops are better than others!)
• Industrial Squeezer accepts all Pam’s HarvestCraft seeds and saplings (some seeds are better than others!)

‘Alternating Flux’ mod adds a 4th tier of power cables for Immersive Engineering

‘Engineer’s Decor’ mod adds several awesome decorative blocks and items in the style of Immersive Engineering
