Ryder’s Survival Plus

Ryder’s Survival+ pack is a lightly modded experience intended to be played in survival with. friends. This pack aims to keep the Vanilla feel while adding features that encourage exploration and adventuring. All mods in this pack are intended to feel like they could realistically be added in a future Minecraft update.

Major additions include the fleshing out of villages, new structures, a new dimension and 50+ new biomes (See below for full list). These features are designed to lean into the RPG and exploration side of Minecraft while also extending the playability of a single Minecraft World. 

NOTE: This modpack is designed to be played on 1.19.2. 

Major Features:

-Improved Villages and Villagers (Make Villages Come Alive!!)

         – Villagers will automatically improve their villages with better lighting, stone walls and wood fences, fix impassable roads, fill potholes, cut grass and trim tree leaves.

         -6 new unique villager professions  

        -New Guard Villagers to protect villages from mobs

        -Villages will now have unique names that will appear when you enter said village.

-Completely Redone Biome Generation 

         -50+ unique biomes.

         -New plants, flowers, trees, building blocks, and much more.

-New  Random Structure Generation

       -Various Dungeons will now spawn across your world filled to the brim with rare loot and enemies.

       -Minecraft’s vanilla mineshafts have been updated and reworked 

       -Bridges? (Bridges!)

-New Dimension added: “The Twilight Forest”

        -New dungeons.
        –Varied boss battles with elaborate mechanics.

        -Dozens of unique hostile and friendly mobs to interact with.
        –Treasure and loot with unique traits and functions.

-Reworked Bosses

         -Bosses difficulty will now scale with your character getting increasingly harder as you progress.

-New Map System

         -A digital Map of your world is now available allowing you to place waypoints and teleport to said waypoints (This can be toggled on/off via settings)

         -A Mini map can also be toggled on via your settings

-Performance improvements + shader support

          -Various client-side and server-side optimizations (Powered by Rubidium)
          -Shader support (Powered by Oculus)

-Farming/Cooking Overhaul
         -Over 40 new food types

         -Completely overhauled cooking system allowing the creation of complex dishes

-Over 30 New Mobs

         -Dozens of new vanilla friendly mobs will now spawn across your world

         -From friendly mobs like elephants and deer to hostile mobs like the Iceologer

Minor Changes:
-Improved Ambient Sounds

-Fixed “Too Expensive” Anvil Bug

-Improved AI pathfinding

-Faster Leaf Decay

-No more Floating Trees (Destroying the bottom block of a tree will now cause the entire tree to collapse)

-Creepers No Longer Destroy Blocks (Can be enabled/disabled via your settings)

–Various Minor Bug Fixes

-New Water Visual Effects

-Dogs will now lie down when their owner is far away
