Plants Vs. Zombies: World is a Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge modpack that brings PVZ-style lane defense, plant cards, progression, and world exploration into a shared survival experience.

What You Can Play Now

• Plant card combat: Build a lawn with sun, cooldowns, placement rules, normal plant cards, and one-use plant cards. Plants, zombies, projectiles, damage types, resistances, and status effects are extensively customized.
• PVZ-style raid campaign: Play the Plains campaign from 1-1 to 1-10 and the Dark Forest campaign from 2-1 to 2-3. Raids use dedicated arenas, waves, flag waves, rewards, HUD progress, multiplayer invitations, and player-count scaling.
• Conveyor-belt levels: Selected stages replace your own deck with timed one-use cards delivered through a PVZ-inspired conveyor hotbar.
• World progression: Discover crops, food, biome ingots, elite enemies, recipes, loot, and plant-card crafting. The Plant Card Packaging Machine supports automation and JEI recipe viewing.
• Almanac and quests: Use the in-game Minecraft-style Almanac to browse plants, monsters, attributes, status effects, and collections. FTB Quests provides guided progression, with Chinese and English localization.
• PVZ presentation: Raids include wave warnings, custom HUD elements, PVZ sound effects, and layered battle music that adds percussion as the battlefield fills with zombies.

Core Technology

The pack is built around Open Tower Defence and expanded with KubeJS, PVZWUtil, and PVZWMagic. It also integrates FTB Quests, LDLib, Multiblocked 2, and other included mods for progression, interfaces, machines, magic, and survival gameplay.

Language Support

Chinese and English are supported. Additional localization is welcome through contributions.

Does the modpack support English?
Yes. Core in-game content, the Almanac, and the current FTB Quest text include English localization.

Why does the pack use the Open Tower Defence backbed version?
The pack uses the backbed snapshot build of Open Tower Defence with the author’s permission for modpack development.
