Point of Annihilation(POA)

Point of Annihilation is a modpack that I have been working on since oct 12 2023

What is Point of Annihilation.
It’s what I call a “caveman simulator” where you start knowing nothing and must experiment with game mechanics and search jei to find out how to do something,

some important features are
.The removal of the hunger system in favour of food restoring health derectly

.Having multiple ways to “progress” meaning you have options of what to do

.A more lenient punishment for death that only costs equipment durabillity and exp instead of losing everything

.Removing most mobs from the surface to make the game more friendly to players

.Reworked cavegen to resemble pre 1.7 caves to make caving more enticing

.Reworked ore system, making veins bigger and rarer to change the way one caves

.A more expansive progression overall, now you can progress from caveman to titan of industry by the end

[Some tips]

.Build shelves as soon as possible, they act as a proper storage method before you have chests

.Actively use jei to find out of to craft things, as the modpack does not tell much by it’s self

.Make a flint knife and obtain straw, as it is an important crafting ingredient

.Obtain a good source of leather or wool as soon as possible, as you will need it

.Dodge during combat, as the game has been rebalanced around this it

.It’s recomended to not to set up base near water, as coastal caves are commonly flooded

And most importantly

.You don’t have to progress, you can just focus on building your base and not worry about moving forward,

as this modpack adds many, many features to reduce this pressure
