Peg SMP Modpack

Peg SMP is the official modpack for the Peg SMP server: a lightweight, performance-focused collection of Vanilla improvements, plus Mace’s Origins. It keeps the game feeling like Minecraft while making it faster, better looking and easier to play.

This modpack is for a closed server only. It is built for Peg SMP members and isn’t meant for general use.

Mace’s Origins is required and has to be installed manually. See the download sections at the bottom of this page.

What’s Included

Mace’s Origins

Origins is a mod concept where each player picks an origin when they join, and that origin gives them unique powers and drawbacks. Maybe you can breathe underwater but struggle on land, or you’re strong but fragile. Each origin changes how you play Minecraft.

Mace’s Origins is a custom take on it with 100+ origins to choose from. Each one has its own buffs, debuffs and abilities, and some change your size.

Default controls

You can rebind these in Options → Controls.

Performance

Sodium, Sodium Extra, Reese’s Sodium Options, Lithium, FerriteCore, Krypton, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, More Culling, Dynamic FPS, Very Many Players and Lighty.

Visuals

• Shaders: Iris Shaders with Complementary Reimagined and Complementary Unbound
• Animations and models: Fresh Animations (with the Creepers, Spiders, Quivers, Objects, Emissive, Details, Classic Horses and Player Extension add-ons), Entity Model Features and Entity Texture Features
• Resource pack support: Continuity, Variants CIT and Animatica
• Atmosphere: Falling Leaves, Visuality, LambDynamicLights, Ambient Sounds and No Cave Ambience
• Resource packs: Default Dark Mode and So No Head (hides helmets while keeping armour protection)

AppleSkin, Jade, Just Enough Items (JEI), JourneyMap, Better Mount HUD, Better Tab, Chat Heads, Better Statistics Screen, Advancements Reloaded, Enchantment Level Cap Indicator, Zoomify, Mouse Tweaks, Client Sort, Take It Out, Axolotl Bucket Fix, Bobby, Cubes Without Borders, Resourcify and Mod Menu.

Multiplayer

• Simple Voice Chat for proximity voice
• Locator Heads for player heads on the locator bar
• No Chat Reports
• Litematica, MiniHUD, Tweakeroo, MaLiLib and Syncmatica for building, schematics and sharing schematics with the server

Libraries

Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, Architectury API, Cloth Config, YACL, CreativeCore, CraterLib, GlitchCore, TCDCommons and Collective.

Tips

• Shaders: open Video Settings → Shader Packs and choose Complementary Reimagined (lighter) or Unbound (prettier, heavier).
• Low-end PC? Stay on Reimagined, or turn shaders off. The performance mods work without them.
• Voice chat: the first launch asks you to set up your microphone.
• Launch problems? Check that Mace’s Origins is in your mods folder and matches 26.3 and Fabric exactly.

Manual Downloads

❗ IMPORTANT: Required Manual Download (Mace’s Origins)

Due to licensing and platform differences, one required mod could not be bundled directly into this pack. You must download it manually for the pack to launch correctly:

1. Download Mace’s Origins from Modrinth: https://modrinth.com/mod/maces-origins/version/1.0.1+mc26.3-fabric
2. Make sure you download the version for 26.3 and for Fabric.
3. In your launcher, right-click this modpack profile, select Open Folder, open the mods folder, and drop the downloaded .jar file inside.

⚠️ WARNING: Optional Manual Downloads (Litematica & Scoreboard Overhaul)

Due to licensing and platform differences, one optional mod could not be bundled directly into this pack. You can download it manually for the full experience:

1. Download Litematica and Scoreboard Overhaul from Modrinth:

2. Make sure you download the versions for 26.3 and for Fabric.
