Nightmare Protocol, The Beginning

This modpack prioritizes immersion, ambience, and creeping rather than constant jumpscares or overwhelming mechanics.

Inspired by cave horror project, the modpack aims to be disturbing and unsettling without becoming frustrating or obnoxious. Every element is balanced to an extent (i hope) to maintain fear while still feeling somewhat fair and engaging.

You are playing in a cursed world, one that feels alive, hostile, and constantly watching. Strange entities roam the land, the caves whisper threats, and the environment itself feels wrong. The modpack is fully playable in singleplayer, but the experience is strongly enhanced when played with friends.

A forest entity that mimics familiar, loud sounds to lure victims before attacking.

An entity with a disturbing fascination with the player. Do not provoke it.
