Welcome to the world a ModColonies!
 

This modpack is centered on the fantastic MineColonies mod, where you will build up a thriving colony. Have workers chop trees, craft, build and more! Defend against raiders while you create buildings in many unique styles!

However this pack has much more on offer! That is where the “Mod” part of ModColonies comes in, there are many other mods, such as Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, Refined Storage, Ars Magica, Blood Magic and much more included. However they will not come without a price! In order to access the depths of magic or most intricate technology you will first have to instruct your colonists to research and unlock the ability to assist you in crafting many items that are required. 

There have also been some major changes to the world! You will be unable to find any ore yourself! Instead you must utilize the skills of your colonists to locate and mine metal veins, or have them sift them from the debris for you! Along with this many changes have been made to MineColonies in order to streamline your experience. Colonists in many buildings, such as the saw mill, now have in built understanding of how to cut wood and logs in to things like stairs and slabs without you ever having to train them! As their building increase in level, so will the complexity of items they know how to craft however you are still free to teach them anything you wish your self.     

Including quests to help guide you through the basics of setting up a colony, the advanced research available and even some interesting challenges to pit yourself against ModColonies has a little bit of something for everyone!
