MineColonies: Simple

**UPDATE ALL MODS BEFORE PLAYING**

All MineColonies modpacks are pretty overloaded with unnecessary mods (some of them even make gameplay of the mode worse). So this one keeps it simple and adds only a few “basic” mods for better performance.

Featured mods: 

Bigger mods 

• MineColonies (core mod)
• Better Copper / Armor and Tools (just to make copper somehow useful)
• Embeddium (optimization) (`Shift+P` to toggle vanilla settings)
• Falling Tree (makes gathering wood at the beginning of the game much easier)
• FTB Chunks (your colonists won’t work if you’re not around without force loaded chunks (to increase their ammount `/ftbchunks admin extra_force_load_chunks`))
• Inventory Profiles Next (to disable purple arrows go to `Mods -> Inventory Profiles Next -> Auto Refill -> Show Icons…`)
• Nature’s Compass (if you need to find some types of wood)
• Storage Drawers (storage system for your house)
• Waystones (teleportation)

Smaller mods

• Dynamic Lights (pretty useful)
• Just Zoom (Optifine-like zoom default key `Z`, to change it go to `Options -> Controls -> Key Binds… -> Search for “Zoom”`)
• Stylecolonies (additional styles for your colony)
• A bunch of useful mods: AppleSkin, Controlling, Enchantment Descriptions, Jade, JorneyMap, JEI, Mouse Tweaks, Polymorph, Stack Refill

Datapacks (there are a few datapacks, you can add to your world in `_datapacks` folder)

• `_Custom Citizen Names` are modpacks that can change your colonists name

Resourcepacks

• Minecolonies Refreshed (to make worknig stations look a bit more vanilla-like)

Optional mods (some of the  mods, I’d like to recommend to try to add)

• Any weapons / armor mod (it really depends on your taste and chosen style so I can’t recommend any, but it could increase your immersion, but I’d like to check if this mod would be compatible with MineColonies crafting system (for example if you need to craft any toolhands to make weapons, your colonists probably wouldn’t be able to craft it with their own hands))
• Distant Horizons (it’s pretty useful mod to increase range, but it can slower your game)
• Terralith (or any other generation mod to make world a bit flatter and make it easier to bulid your colonies to)
