Survival – Recrafted

Overview

Survival: Recrafted is a realistic survival and progression modpack based off of Conquest Reforged and RLCraft designed to make Minecraft feel harsher, and more difficult. Nearly every aspect of survival has been expanded or reworked, from gathering your first resources to building advanced gear and establishing a sustainable base. Progression is slower, resources are harder to get, and the world itself is more difficult to survive.

Key Features

Survival Overhaul

• Better Beginnings — Forget punching trees. Early-game resources and tools must be obtained through more primitive methods, making your first days significantly more difficult.
• Overgeared — Progression through tools and equipment is expanded. Better materials such as iron require proper forging and smithing rather than simply crafting a new pickaxe.
• Legendary Survival Overhaul — Adds thirst, temperature, and localized body damage, making your physical condition something you have to actively manage.
• Stamina — Sprinting, swimming, and other strenuous activities are limited by stamina, preventing you from moving indefinitely without consequence.
• True Darkness — Darkness is genuinely dark. The night and unlit caves become dangerous environments rather than slightly darker versions of daytime.

World Generation & Exploration

• Terralith — Dramatically expands the Overworld with hundreds of new biomes and more natural-looking terrain generation.
• Continents — Creates larger, more geographically believable regions instead of the small disconnected landscapes of vanilla Minecraft.
• Streams Reflowing — Adds natural waterways that shape and connect the world.
• Geophillic — Adds realistic environmental details and geological features to make terrain feel more natural.
• Dynamic Trees — Replaces Minecraft’s rigid trees with more natural, growing trees that better fit the surrounding environment.
• Cave Overhaul — Multiple cave-generation mods create deeper, more varied underground environments to explore.
• Structure Overhaul — Multiple structure mods add new and improved structures give exploration more purpose while remaining consistent with Minecraft’s world.

Mobs & Combat

• Alex’s Mobs — Adds a huge variety of new creatures while maintaining a Minecraft-inspired aesthetic and giving the world more life.
• Enhanced AI — Mobs behave more intelligently, making encounters less predictable and requiring more awareness from the player.
• More Mob Variants — Expanded variants add diversity to existing creatures without turning the game into a completely different monster system.
• Simply Swords — Introduces a wide selection of new weapons with unique abilities and fighting styles.
• Combat Overhaul — Adds mobility and dodging mechanics, giving players more options during combat.

Vanilla, Expanded

• Better Days — Expands the experience of spending time in the Overworld and makes the passage of time more meaningful.
• Serene Seasons — Adds a dynamic seasonal system that changes the environment and affects survival throughout the year.
• Farmer’s Delight — Expands farming and cooking with more ingredients, meals, and reasons to establish a proper food supply.
• Starcatcher — Overhauls fishing and gives it significantly more depth.
• Nether and End Overhauls — The Nether and End receive new environments, features, structures, and content to make them feel like complete dimensions rather than brief progression checkpoints.
