The Lunacraft pixelmon Modpack

The lunacraft pixelmon server’s official modpack.

 

How to install

To install the modpack, just like any other you can just click the install button.

Once the installation is over, you can play with the play button.

It is recommended to play this modpack with 5-6GB of ram. 

There are some performance mods available to keep lagg down, but still doesn’t make miracles happen.

 

What to expect

First of all, it is a pixelmon modpack. 

So the main goal would be to play pokemon alone or with friends.

So build the biggest bases, complete the pokedex, make the strongest pokemon team and become the best there ever was.

Ofcourse what makes this modpack extra? 

We reduce the biggest grind for ores and materials with the use of FTB Ultimine. 

This makes it so you can chop whole areas with a single swing. 

By adding iron furnaces, you can upgrade your furnace for faster smelting speeds. It makes it less necessary to wait for the furnace until it finally melts down a stack. 

The iron chests will add more slots to higher tier chests. this might be easier with all the additional items to still store them away. 

 

Planning an exploration trip? make sure to also bring your backpack. 

 

Sophisticated backpacks brings backpacks which you can open for a lot of room. higher tiers are more item slots and more upgrade slots. 
These upgrades can make it easier to take/deposit stuff from inventories, adds auto furnace, makes even more items possible to be hold into the item slot and much more. 
So less going out of the mine because of a full inventory and no more need to bring a thousand shulker boxes.

don’t need to waste stuff on a compass or remember the coordinates, with journeymaps you get a minimap to look a bit in your area, see the places you explored and you can set waypoints to find your way home or to other nice areas.

 

We also added Farmers delight, because of the lack of meat farms, maybe we can add some more food sources.

Still not convinced? 

Because of the use of lootr , every lootchest is unique.

This means you can play it solo, with friend or on a server without having to travel thousands of blocks to find some loot.

The resourcepack

The resourcepack contains several pixelmon textures , emissive parts and a language file.

It won’t do anything without the datapack which is by default in the lunacraft pixelmon server.

If you want the datapack, feel free to simply ask for it, we won’t bite. 

 

The discord

Our main communication happens in a discord server.

Discord is a social media platform where you can enter “servers” to chat or speak with other people, ideal for gamers.

We use the discord to inform about stuff like ongoing events in the minecraft server, changes in the modpack, just to chat around and more. 

The discord can also be used by you to help us improve the modpack by bringing in ideas or making us aware of possible bugs.

As the founder of lunacraft and the owner of the lunacraft pixelmon server, his job was making sure the server got done. 

He is the person that comes with ideas, helps in ways possible to him and keeps us motivated.

Without him, this probably never got started.

As the first moderator and a creative mindset, darkota’s role can not be missed.

The responsibility of helping people in need and creating both textures and sprites for the resourcepack while still bringing a smile is just Darkota. 

The first line of bug tests also have been found by darkota and ideas/research for possible solutions tend to appear here aswell.

As the admin and developer, he’s been responsible for configs , custom plugins in the server, creating a bunch of textures and some sprites and creating the datapack required, 

he’s the person that makes sure the background stuff gets done.
