Official JKR Server Modpack

A custom modpack created for the JKR Discord’s Minecraft server, with a significant focus on tech and exploration.

This pack contains 70 mods currently – a good chunk of them are optimization and library mods, though. A few are server-side only mods, and you can read the bottom here to see why they’re being included.

Mod Overview

Biomes O’ Plenty offers variety in overworld biomes, animals, and resources. YUNG’s mods provide an enhancement of vanilla cave and stronghold generation. If you’re done exploring the overworld, venture into The Undergarden – a dimension with new mobs and a few vast and dark biomes to check out.

You can also set up an advanced item storage system, construct an efficient energy grid, and build massive nuclear reactors with tech mods such as AE2, Mekanism, and Extreme Reactors. Build a near-indestructible power suit with Modular Powersuits and construct a moving, functional factory with Create. Or maybe build complex logic with redstone expansions offered by More Red and Gauges and Switches.

A bunch of other mods are thrown in as well for user convenience and improvements to the Minecraft client, as well as stuff like ComputerCraft (to allow working computers for a variety of tasks) and a few decorative mods. A lot of mods present in this pack are performance enhancing or server-side only mods, this is done to make the process of tracking all of the mods and keeping the server updated less convoluted. That being said, it is not recommended that you manually remove any mods in this pack (at least if you’re trying to join our server) as it may reject you for having a mismatched mod list (Forge is more aggressive about this now).

This pack will be updated for 1.17 once it’s released and mods are properly updated (which may take a while).
