Island Life

Island Life is a very small starter pack (3 mods) intended for you to add your own mods. It’s the core worldgen behind my personal Create: Aeronautics modpack. The Tectonic config has been changed to create a world full of islands of various sizes and deep oceans. 

A few notes:

• I can’t guarantee the same worldgen results if you add more biome mods like Biomes O’Plenty.
• Biome Replacer removes the sky islands of Terralith. If you want the sky islands, simply uninstall the mod.
• You might have to generate a few worlds before you find a good starting area. You could add Biome Spawn Point if you want to make sure you start on a specific biome, but you still may have to try a few times to get what you want.
• If you want to modify the Tectonic config, first back it up. Don’t modify it using the in-game config options. I had to go outside the values the editor allows to keep the islands from having shear cliffs.
• You can adjust the difficulty simply by picking different starting islands. A tiny hill with a single tree, and you’re all-but playing a Skyblock pack.
• I recommend using a shader like proton or Solas and Distant Horizons. There’s a lot of water in this world. A good water shader really makes it pop.
• I won’t be updating this modpack or providing support. It’s literally three worldgen mods. I just thought some people might want a waterworld setting for their Aeronautics playthroughs, so I figured I’d make it public for others.
