Heliovein

Heliovein is a modpack that succeeds Darkvein and Jojovein (with heavy Hexxit inspiration).

You go around exploring the world, clearing dungeons and slaying powerful mobs at night.

The premise is infinite unstoppable exploration: you have no hunger, so you can run around all you like without needing to ever needing to stop. You also encounter max health increases in the wild, and getting armor isn’t all that hard. However, in exchange, the mobs are significantly harder. They also get stronger the further you go from spawn with no limit meaning you can mess around with an infinite difficulty curve-

The modpack, like older adventure ones, has no quest line or goals. This is an intentional decision: you’re supposed to play and play until you are satisfied, with the core gameplay loop being the fun of the pack!

It has this light horror atmosphere, and it also features my mod Roundabout so you can play around with JoJo stands and vampirism.

Lastly, there are fun little collectibles in the form of hats, and features 3 new core dimensions (aether/twilight/infinite dungeon dimension). MCA is in the pack but you don’t go through any of the character creation and only some villages have MCA villagers- this keeps you straight in the action and maintains compatibility with mods that require standard villagers for some features like Roundabout.

The LORE

The Sun is a symbol of courage, the light you will need to cut through the darkness of the world. Mods with sunlight concepts like Aether’s sun Spirit and Mowzie’s Sun Chief were included.

I made this modpack to play with someone in particular, but anyone can enjoy it also. It is a lightly tailored, curated pure rpg experience that trims all the fat.
