Hallownest’s Survival Gauntlet

This is a modpack intended for small multiplayer/server use. The pack is based around Forge 1.20.1.

The main feature of this pack is performance alterations. Rubidium, Entity Culling, and others (including the performance suite by “someaddon”) are used to enable shader support and allow the game to run better. With this modpack, shader support is built-in, and performance should be out of this world. 

There is no content added by this modpack other than GraveStones. I tried to use the Corpse mod, but it had issues with Cosmetic Armor. The GraveStones are important, as since this is a server-based project, people should be able to die and just log off for a bit. Your stuff will always wait at your death point.

There are a ton of quality-of-life mods included, as well. Things like inventory sorting buttons, FallingTree for fast tree chopping, and a mod that allows you to hide armor or equip a cosmetic set. Alongside the QoL mods are a list of immersion-based mods, such as Ambient Environment, Sound Physics, and even a Discord Rich Presence detector. 

Overall, this is a modpack that perfectly preserves the 1.20.1 Minecraft Vanilla experience while trying to make the game more fun for a multiplayer environment. I left as many systems alone with this modpack as possible, so hopefully this is only “1.20.1 but better” rather than just a whole different thing.
