H.E.C.U. — No One Is Coming
The world is dead.
The infection is spreading.
And you were never meant to survive.
The outbreak began without warning.
At first, it was contained. A few isolated incidents. Violent civilians. Strange reports coming from hospitals and military checkpoints. Nothing the authorities couldn’t handle.
Then the communications started going silent.
Cities disappeared from the network one after another. Emergency broadcasts became increasingly desperate. Entire military units stopped responding. Roads were abandoned, hospitals were overwhelmed, and whatever was happening was spreading far faster than anyone could contain.
The government had one answer left.
H.E.C.U.
You are nothing special.
You are not a commander.
You are not a hero.
You are not some legendary soldier sent to save the world.
You’re a H.E.C.U. Grunt.
One of thousands of soldiers deployed to contain the outbreak and secure the infected zones.
Your orders were simple:
Enter the quarantine zone.
Establish a defensive position.
Assist survivors.
Maintain communications.
Wait for reinforcements.
You were told that another H.E.C.U. unit would arrive shortly.
You were told that extraction was already being prepared.
You were told that the situation was under control.
You believed them.
DAY 1 — DEPLOYMENT
Your squad is deployed into a city that looks like it has been abandoned for years.
Burned-out vehicles cover the streets. Buildings have been evacuated—or destroyed. Sirens echo through empty neighborhoods, occasionally interrupted by distant gunshots.
There are bodies everywhere.
Some are dead.
Some aren’t.
Your squad establishes a temporary position inside an abandoned structure and waits for further orders.
The radio is still working.
For now.
Command tells you to hold your position.
“Reinforcements are on the way.”
So you wait.
And then you hear the first screams.
The infected aren’t slow, mindless corpses.
They’re everywhere.
They come from buildings, underground tunnels, hospitals, houses, sewers—anywhere you aren’t expecting them.
Your ammunition starts disappearing faster than you can replace it.
Your squad gets smaller.
The radio gets quieter.
And the promised reinforcements never arrive.
DAY 3 — NO CONTACT
You’ve tried calling command.
Nothing.
You’ve tried contacting nearby H.E.C.U. units.
Nothing.
The emergency frequencies are filled with static, broken transmissions and desperate voices.
You begin hearing fragments of messages.
“…overrun…”
“…requesting immediate extraction…”
“…we have civilians trapped…”
“…do you copy?…”
Then silence.
You start searching abandoned military checkpoints for supplies.
Food.
Water.
Ammunition.
Medical equipment.
Anything that might keep you alive another day.
Your original mission no longer matters.
There is no longer a city to secure.
There is no longer a perimeter to defend.
There is only survival.
DAY 7 — THE TRUTH
You finally find evidence that something is terribly wrong.
An abandoned military facility contains documents, recordings and communications logs.
The information doesn’t make sense at first.
Then you understand.
The reinforcements weren’t delayed.
They weren’t lost.
They aren’t coming.
Whatever command structure remained has either collapsed or abandoned the quarantine zone entirely.
The people outside don’t know you’re still alive.
Nobody is coming to extract you.
Nobody is coming to save the survivors.
And the worst part?
The H.E.C.U. command may have known this from the beginning.
Your orders were never about surviving until rescue.
They were about keeping you in the quarantine zone long enough to prevent the infection from escaping.
You weren’t waiting for reinforcements.
You were waiting to die.
NOW
Days have become weeks.
Your uniform is torn.
Your equipment is damaged.
Your squad is gone.
The streets you once patrolled are now hunting grounds for the infected.
Every bullet matters.
Every meal could be your last.
Every noise in the darkness could mean another survivor…
Or something much worse.
You still wear the H.E.C.U. insignia.
Not because you still believe in the mission.
Not because you think command is coming.
But because it’s the only thing you have left.
You are a soldier stranded at the end of the world.
And somewhere beyond the quarantine zone, people are still living their normal lives.
They don’t know what happened here.
They don’t know you’re alive.
They don’t know that the H.E.C.U. units sent into this city were abandoned.
They don’t know that the infection is still spreading.
And they certainly don’t know that you may be one of the last soldiers left alive.
Your mission has changed.
Survive.
Find food.
Find ammunition.
Search abandoned buildings.
Explore military facilities.
Help survivors when you can.
Avoid the infected when possible.
Fight when you have no choice.
Discover what happened to the H.E.C.U. forces.
And perhaps, somewhere in the ruins, find a way out.
But remember:
The radio may still be broadcasting.
The H.E.C.U. may still be listening.
And if you hear someone calling for help…
make sure they’re human before you answer.
H.E.C.U.
A zombie survival experience where you aren’t the hero.
You are a soldier.
You are alone.
Your orders are outdated.
Your command is silent.
Your reinforcements are never coming.
And the only way home… is to survive.
