Minecraft will never feel the same after dark.

Halloween is a horror-focused Minecraft modpack built around supernatural encounters, mysterious creatures, unsettling events, and immersive exploration. Combining a collection of horror mods with enhanced world generation, atmospheric sounds, and visual improvements, it turns ordinary survival into a much more unpredictable experience.

 Creatures & Supernatural Encounters

The world is home to more than the usual Minecraft mobs. Encounter creatures and entities from mods such as:

Additional horror content from Intense Horror, Born in Chaos, Sons Of Sins, The Box of Horrors, and Whispering Spirits adds even more reasons to stay alert.

 Unpredictable Horror Events

Not every frightening encounter comes from a creature. With Server-Side Horror and other horror-focused mods, strange things can happen during your adventure.

Depending on the configured events, you may encounter suspicious player activity, unexplained sounds, disturbing messages, mysterious signs, unexpected traps, and unusual changes to your surroundings. Even familiar places can become unsettling when you least expect it.

 Explore an Expanded World

Discover a world reshaped by several world-generation mods:

• Terralith — introduces a wide variety of distinctive biomes and landscapes.

• Regions Unexplored — expands the world with additional environments to discover.

• Tectonic — transforms terrain generation with more dramatic landforms.

• Dynamic Trees — adds more natural-looking trees and tree growth.

These changes make exploration a major part of the experience, giving you more unfamiliar places to investigate and making the environment an important part of the atmosphere.

 Immersive Atmosphere

Halloween includes several mods designed to make the world feel more immersive:

• AmbientSounds 6 and Sounds enhance the audio atmosphere.

• EnhancedVisuals adds visual effects that respond to in-game situations.

• Exposure introduces an in-game photography system.

• First-person Model, Not Enough Animations, and Serious Player Animations improve player presentation and animations.

• Oculus, Embeddium, and Distant Horizons provide shader support, rendering improvements, and extended terrain visibility.

The result is a more atmospheric Minecraft experience, especially when exploring unfamiliar areas or travelling after dark.

 Survival & Quality of Life

Horror is only part of the experience. The pack also includes useful survival and exploration features:

• Sophisticated Backpacks for additional storage options.

• Comforts for alternative sleeping options.

• Corpse to help recover your belongings after death.

• Carry On for moving certain blocks and entities.

• Xaero’s Minimap and Xaero’s World Map for navigation.

• Just Enough Items (JEI) and Jade for recipe and block information.

• Simple Voice Chat for proximity-based voice communication when supported by the server setup.

These additions make exploration and survival more convenient without taking away from the pack’s horror theme.
