Genetics, Farming & Resources

Genetics, Farming & Resources is a 1.9.4 modpack with a variety of mods (tech, magic, QOL, utilities, dimension, armour/tools, decor, survival and more), but the core mods are based around Farming and using Resources for Tech, Armour & Genetics.

Farming mods include Growth Pulser (useful for increasing growth of crops), Ore Plants (allows for growable resources), Agricultural Revolution (adds crops, machines and more).

Other mods included range from tech (Techy or NeoTech, crushing of ores, powered furnace, tanks, upgrades to machines and useful utilities) to armour mods like Resource Overhaul (tiers that fit between or above Iron and Diamond as well as includes use for Stone to be thrown besides using arrows, snowballs and eggs as projectiles.)

There is many minor mods to consider that change the pack ever so slightly. Like Solar Radiation (make sure to wear a helmet, stay under roofs or in water or you’ll burn in sunlight like Zombies), which can be a challenge, and the ability to glue Slabs with ‘Glue’, while others like InstantLava make Lava Infinite and NonEvaporation allowing water to work in the Nether so you don’t have it dry up (or have to rely on Cauldrons to have water in the Nether) to make things interestingly difficult or more accessible/change how you think to play.
