Gatebound

Find ancient Stargates, build rockets, and power it all with a factory you build together.

Gatebound is a lightweight sci-fi pack for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge), made for a small group of friends on a server. It’s about 30 mods, so it runs well on most PCs and on cheap server hosting.

Explore space

  • Stellaris: build and upgrade your own rockets, then travel to planets and moons with different gravity, environments and resources.
  • Stargate Journey: you can’t craft Stargates at the start. You have to find them buried in the world, learn to dial them, and travel instantly between dimensions. Eventually you can build your own.

Tech and automation

  • Create and Create Crafts & Additions: mechanical contraptions, trains and electricity.
  • Mekanism (with Generators and Tools): ore processing, power and advanced machines.
  • Applied Energistics 2 and Applied Mekanistics: digital storage and autocrafting for your entire base.

Backpacks and storage

  • Sophisticated Backpacks: upgradeable backpacks with auto-pickup, magnet, crafting and more.
  • Sophisticated Storage: upgradeable chests and barrels that keep your base tidy.

Built for playing together

  • FTB Chunks and Teams: claim your base with friends and keep chunks loaded so your factory keeps running while you’re offline.
  • Waystones: fast travel between the places you’ve built.
  • Gravestones: when you die, your items wait for you at a grave instead of despawning.
  • Xaero’s Minimap and World Map, JEI, Jade and AppleSkin for the everyday quality of life.

Performance

Sodium, ModernFix, FerriteCore, ImmediatelyFast and Entity Culling keep frame rates high and memory use low.

Server setup

  • Allocate 6 to 8 GB of RAM.
  • These mods only run on the player’s side and can be removed from the server: Sodium, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, Xaero’s Minimap, Xaero’s World Map and Mouse Tweaks.
  • Tip: claim and force-load your factory chunks with FTB Chunks (press M).

Gatebound 基于 Minecraft Java 版 1.21.1，使用 NeoForge 加载器。

Gatebound 怎么安装？

点本页「前往下载」拿到整合包文件（Modrinth 的是 .mrpack，CurseForge 的是 .zip），在 PCL2 或 HMCL 启动器里选择「导入整合包」，启动器会自动装好 Minecraft、加载器和全部模组。建议在启动器里给游戏分配 4–6 GB 内存。

Gatebound 开服需要多大内存？

推荐服务器内存 12 GB。在线人数多、或者建了大量机器和区块加载器时，可以再加 2–4 GB。

怎么和朋友一起玩 Gatebound？

点本页的「一键开服」，选好配置后会自动安装 Gatebound 的服务端，几分钟就能开好。把服务器地址发给朋友，大家用同一个版本的整合包连进去就行。
