FragmentCraft Devolved

FragmentCraft Devolved is the 1.20 update to the FragmentCraft series of packs. This update, we focused on reducing the count of large and/ or major mods and including only popular and low intensity mods. Ideally, we’d like to maintain a, somewhat, low-tech fantasy setting with mid range performance requirements.

Terrain generation is affected by the Oh the Biomes We’ve Gone, and Alex’s Caves. OBWG needs no introduction beyond being anupdated overhaul from the OBYG team. Alex’s Caves is a relatively new mod that adds several new cave biomes. 

We are still feeling out the selection of magic mods. Iron’s Spells and Spellbooks and Malum have been selected as a permanent additions to the pack and Blood Magic will likely persist into the future. We plan to add Astral Sorcery if it ever gets released to 1.20.

As far as tech goes, the pack focuses heavily on Create and has several add-ons and compat mods that allow the other mods to integrate with it. Storage is being supplemented with Tom’s Simple Storage, Sophisticated Storage, and Sophisticated Backpacks. The tool crafting experience is being enhanced with the Tinker’s Construct and Tetra mods. However, Tinker’s was only recently added to 1.20 and so we expect some bugs and compat mods to make appearances as time goes on.

We are running an official server through our discord ( Fragmentcraft: https://discord.gg/AYGSnc6g ) and plan to add new dimensions to the server and pack every couple of months to keep gameplay fresh.
