Fairness Is Out The Window.

Dubious Craft 2 is a hardcore exploration modpack, oriented towards veterans whom enjoy heightened difficulty. Nowhere is truly safe from the plethora of dynamic mobs that will relentlessly hunt you down when the sun sets.

Exploring at Night? Death Sentence.

Vanilla mobs have had their AI revamped, and many new hostile mobs have been added to put the pressure on when the sun falls. Creepers will blow down walls to create paths, zombies will tunnel towards you underground, and spiders skitter across ceilings and spray webs to slow you down. There is little to no ambient light in this pack either; running out of torches can trade a fair fight for an unpleasant demise.

There are nasty things waiting for you in the dark. Best wait for day to pick up those couple extra logs. There are a great many things to pick from, but I wouldn’t want to spoil any surprises. <3

Sleeping is DISABLED!

Sundown brings true (modded) darkness, unique lunar events, and spawn conditions that turn every night into a frontline between you and the unceasing onslaught. Adequate shelter for the night will be your lifeline. Venturing outside at night is going to make “knowing what hit you” uncommon, at best.

Base Building is going to be different.

Constant dangers and sources of damage are going to change the way you build your home. A structural integrity system, mixed with hostile mobs beating on your gates are going to bring on a new challenge as you struggle to keep the roof over your head instead of on your head. Your base will become ship of theseus as you play, with no two blocks ever staying the same for long. A layered defence, and a backup plan are STRONGLY advised.
