Dimensional Chaos – OneBlock

Dimensional Chaos is a modded OneBlock survival pack for Minecraft 1.21.1, built around our own Dimensional Chaos mod.

You start on a small island in the void with a regenerating OneBlock and a gateway to other dimensions. From there, it’s up to you how you build your island and progress through the pack.

There’s technology, magic, exploration and a quest system to help you along the way. You can play solo or share an island with friends.

OneBlock progression

Your OneBlock has seven resource phases. As you mine and progress, you’ll unlock materials for more advanced crafting, machines and equipment.

There’s also a six-slot reserve for drops when your inventory is full, so you don’t have to worry about losing resources while mining.

The pack includes mods like Create, Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2 and Powah! for automation and storage, alongside Ars Nouveau and Apotheosis for magic and equipment progression.

You can focus on building machines, exploring, improving your gear or mixing everything together.

Dimensional expeditions

Your island’s gateway takes you to other dimensions where you can collect resources that aren’t available through normal OneBlock progression.

The catch is that your return portal only stays open for a limited time.

You have 15 minutes to explore and get back. If the portal closes before you return, you’ll be trapped until you repair a Dimensional Fracture.

Rift Guardians appear around the fracture. Defeat them, collect Dimensional Fragments and repair your way home.

It’s worth bringing enough supplies before heading out.

Quests and island expansion

The pack currently includes 118 quests, available in English and French.

They cover different parts of progression, with main objectives, optional challenges and a story to follow as you develop your island.

There are also eight island expansion chapters. Completing their objectives increases your building area and unlocks additional dimensional destinations.

Your island starts small, with a holographic border marking where you can build. As you unlock more space, the border expands with you.

Playing with friends

You can create a team and share your island with other players.

Team members work on the same OneBlock progression and can build together. Island and team data are saved across sessions and server restarts.

Singleplayer is supported too.

The easiest way to install the pack is through the CurseForge app.

Dimensional Chaos is still in Beta, so you may run into bugs or balancing issues while playing. Check the changelog for fixes and changes between versions.
