Current of the Old was built with one goal: to bring back the nostalgic feeling of playing Minecraft during its golden age of adventure (like Hexxit and Tekkit in 1.5.2), while taking full advantage of the performance, polish, and mechanics of version 1.20.1.

There are no forced quests or rigid linear paths telling you how to play. This is pure sandbox freedom: explore dangerous dungeons, master forgotten dimensions, or automate your base’s resource production at your own pace.
