Create: Outbound

Welcome to Create Outbound, this pack started as something simple for me and my friends and got heavily carried away. It’s a survival sandbox with deep exploration, a living, immersive world, and real systems around temperature, thirst, and sanity, with an optional questline, powered by a custom Create x Ad Astra integration. Create sits at the center of how you solve problems here, from your first water wheel to a deep space railway line. 

It’s sitting at over 400 mods, with a heavy, exploration-driven world generation setup that won’t let you get bored. Because of that scale, we strongly recommend pre-generating chunks and allocating 8–10GB of RAM.  Use this command to pre-generate your world :

 /pregen start gen radius overworld CIRCLE 0 0 300 minecraft:overworld NORMAL_GEN

This will generate 4800 block radius, you can lower the radius to 150 if on low end PC or leave overnight. 

🚀 Create x Ad Astra: Ride Your Trains Into Space

This is where most of the development time went. Ad Astra is (almost) fully integrated into Create through custom KubeJS recipes and dedicated questlines, including bringing Create trains through custom portals directly onto Ad Astra planets. 

🌍 A World Built to Be Explored

Custom Tectonic terrain and Regions Unexplored make the world dense, varied, and worth exploring. No fast travel here, no teleportation like waystones and elytra are removed. You’ll need real transportation: Rustic Engineer, Immersive Aircraft, Create trains, or a dragon egg raised into your own flying mount. They’re strong. Good luck. The world also teeming with unique creatures animals, most nice, some very hostile, the cold biomes have been overrun with an aggressive alien lifeform…

🌡️ Survival Systems

Beyond hunger, you’re managing Temperature, Thirst, and Sanity. Custom insulation materials fight the cold, Create-powered filters purify water for Thirst, and Sanity has been heavily reworked beyond the base mod. 

⚙️ Progression Without the Power Creep

There’s no rigid progression path — how deep you go into automation is up to you. Create stays relevant late-game through deliberate balance work, instead of getting overshadowed by mods like Mekanism. 

Gear and enchanting stay grounded compared to power fantasy packs, but progression isn’t flat, Create’s enchantment industry, Simply Swords artifact weapons, and boss gear offer extra progression while staying balanced, with Tinkers’ Construct integration planned to add more.

🚧 Early Alpha (WIP)

Still actively being built. The questline isn’t finished, the T4 rocket recipe for the final planet is still being worked out, and more content is planned. Expect some rough edges.
