Evolution:

The idea of this modpack is to create conditions that will force players to work together and evolve a system or society that is greater than the sum of it’s parts (the players). This evolution will come primarily from knowledge. Most crafting recipes have been locked and players must unlock and share this information in order to develop their society. The experiment is to see if whether or not different societies will emerge and evolve differently from each other.

Key Features of This Pack:

• Most crafting recipes have been locked. In order to unlock new recipes you must create Research Papers in the Research Station. Research papers can be right clicked and consumed unlock random recipes.
• Hold a book in your offhand and the item you wish to learn the crafting recipe for in your main hand, shift right click, this will unlock that crafting recipe.
• Crafting now consumes hunger whenever an item is crafted, emphasising a need on food production
• Mob difficulty has been increased and some otherwise neutral mobs will attack you.
• Blocks now require the exact tool needed to break them or else they won’t break.
• Experience can now be bottle from you level bar by shift right clicking
