Codename: Downfall

Project: Downfall is a modpack that I made for me and a few friends with the concepts of post-apocalyptic gameplay and realism in hand. Mods such as Zombie Awareness help enforce the idea of the player being hunted by the undead, and The Lost Cities mod really adds to it all by generating ridiculously large, abandoned cities. The low moans of zombies seem to echo from the basements of old buildings, haunting the player, as if the undead were always behind them, and Mo’ Creatures and Biomes O’ Plenty give off the feel of the cities being overrun by nature. For the realism aspect, mods like Enhanced Visuals make combat more tense with blood splattering on your screen as you take damage, and your screen beating like a heart as you get lower and lower on health.
