So, what is the CelestialCraft Modpack?

The CelestialCraft Modpack is a collection of simple, common modpack mods, along with a few custom mods made by us, CelestialCraft studios. We offer many QOL mods such as Easy Elytra Takeoff and Refined Storage, along with content mods like Oh the Biomes You’ll Go and more. Please note, this pack is currently in BETA, and the quest line is VERY unfinished, and will get a complete revamp sometime in the very near future. We also includue optifine, because Oculus and Rubidium were not compatible.

Performance Benchmarks

Without Shaders

Without shaders, this should run with around 4 gigabytes of RAM for good performance. It ran around 40 fps on fast graphics with render distance 4 with 4 gigabytes of ram on a laptop with a GTX 1050 Ti and a core i7 7th gen. This pack can run, as of now, on just about anything.

With Shaders

NOTE: These benchmarks were tested on a different computer on the first, and with very strong bias. We do no take responsibility if you “try out shaders” on a lower end PC, and something goes wrong.

We ran around 104 fps with Hardtop vanillaccurate 256x along with Archaic 128x with Sildurs Vibrant ExtremeVL. However, that is with an RTX 4080 Laptop, a Core i9 13900HX with 6GB ram allocated because we were too lazy to use more of the 32gb available. We put it in High Performance Mode (An Alienware feature), and had 24 chunks render distance.

What makes this pack fun?

At CelestialCraft studios, we focus on the enjoyability of the pack in any gamemode, including creative. Please note, as the custom mod, Ascension, is currently in VERY early beta, items from it are currently not craftable in survival without certain other items from Ascension, specifically Structure Gel and Gel Ore. In a soon-upcoming update, we will be making both of those available in survival. We also have a short video which showcases the pack and many images.
