BlackRock Official

BlackRock is the official modpack for the whitelisted BlackRock Minecraft server — a long-term, community-focused survival world built around industry, transport, exploration, trade and player progression.

The server is designed to feel like a living world rather than a collection of unrelated mods. Players are encouraged to build towns, connect settlements, develop infrastructure, trade with one another and contribute to larger community projects as the world grows.

At the centre of BlackRock is Create, with engineering, automation, railways and large-scale transport forming a major part of progression. Trains are intended to become the backbone of the world, linking towns, industries and shared facilities, while other forms of transport provide additional options as players advance.

BlackRock also includes its own character system. Players choose a permanent race and profession, each providing different abilities and advantages that influence how they play and what role they may naturally take within the community.

The economy is built around Create: Numismatics, allowing players to earn, store and exchange physical currency, operate shops and businesses, and trade directly with other players. Server commissions and other systems provide additional ways to earn money without replacing the player-driven economy.

Exploration remains an important part of the experience. The world uses enhanced terrain generation, dangerous creatures and carefully selected structures while keeping the overall environment recognisably Minecraft. The End is initially locked and becomes available later as part of the server’s progression.

BlackRock is designed around long-term survival. There are no teleport-heavy shortcuts, no /back, no keep inventory and no instant progression. Roads, railways, ports, aircraft, settlements and industrial centres are intended to be built and maintained by the players themselves.
