Biscotto

A vanilla+ modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge, built to play with friends. It still feels like Minecraft, with bigger land to explore and better things to find.

Features

• Bigger land: taller mountains, wider rivers, continents farther apart, and flat ground kept so you have room to build
• Tunnel caves: no huge open caverns, just passages you follow without knowing where they come out
• Bigger structures: vanilla structures rebuilt at a larger scale, plus new dungeons, ruins and cities
• Reworked Nether and End: new biomes and structures, and the way to the End is a hunt across all three dimensions
• Better loot: gear with random attributes and gems, deeper enchanting, relics and artifacts. Mending is earned, not bought
• Survival comforts: backpacks that grow with you, graves that keep your inventory, furniture and building blocks
• Made for friends: waystones to discover, parties on the map, per-player chest loot, a ping wheel, two players on one horse
• Shader ready: Iris is installed, just add a shader pack

Installing

Use the CurseForge App: a few mods don’t allow third-party downloads, and only the App gets them. Launch once to the main menu, then create a world.

Java: 8–12 GB of RAM (12–16 GB with 10+ CPU cores), and replace the Java arguments with -XX:+UseZGC -XX:+ZGenerational (CurseForge → Settings → Minecraft → Java Settings → Additional Arguments).

Server: get the server pack. It downloads every mod on first start and needs Java 21. Setup is in its README.

Every mod belongs to its author and keeps its own license. The pack’s configs are MIT licensed.
