In a world long forsaken by balance, the weave of magic stirs once more. The land groans beneath ancient rites and forgotten spells, and only those who dare walk the path of the arcane may hope to survive.

Progression has been unbound from the mundane. Recipes are no longer what they once were, twisted to serve the dark gifts of Hexerei, Iron’s Spells & Spellbooks, and other forbidden arts. Strength lies not in steel alone, but in incantations whispered beneath blood moons and rituals cast in the shadow of ruin.

Though death comes swiftly, the curse of eternity lingers — inventory is kept, and the soul endures. With each fall, knowledge is gained, skills awakened, and a new system of experience rewards the perseverant.

Yet beware: this is no idle journey. The world is alive — and it is hungry. Nutrition must be tended, the earth must be cultivated, and the waters fished with care. Survival is earned through toil as much as through battle.

Ancient bosses await in the deep fog, twisted echoes of what once was. Only the cunning and the brave will face them and live to speak of it.
