Arcadia and Abaddon

Important: When creating a new world, make sure that the Biomes O’ Plenty world type is selected, or else new biomes will not generate!

Arcadia and Abaddon is a modpack designed to enhance the vanilla survival experience. This modpack improves on the base game’s different aspects with a semi-RPG theme.

Additions

– Exploration is made more fun with new biomes, animals, dungeons, loot, and NPCs

– Combat is enhanced with new weapons, gear, armor, and enchantments

– The world is a deadlier place: with dangerous animals, more monsters, and horrors lurking from beyond the overworld

– Collect trinkets, magical artifacts, and rare scrolls and tomes to level up your character

– Various different vanilla-themed enhancements that make the game feel more detailed and alive

– Settle down and build with new blocks, and make your own farm with new crops and livestock

– A linear progression system marked with new advancements and goals

Notes

– Relaunch Minecraft if it fails to load

– Optifine recommended

– I recommend that you look through the wikis of the mods in the modpack

Things to be aware of

– Holding shift while chopping a tree with an axe will chop down the entire tree

– Set waypoints by opening the waypoint menu with “u”

– JEI shows you the crafting recipes and uses of each item. Press “r” to see recipes and “u” on an item to see uses

– Open the worldmap by pressing “m”, this makes regular maps basically useless

– Everything is configurable, go to the config folder to make changes
