AdEx lite

A variant of my AdEx modpack but with a significantly decreased amount of mods (3,5x less) for performance’s sake. A good alternative if you want to make a modded server with friends (speaking from experience on that one).

The modpack focuses mostly on the adventure, exploration, loot and combat aspects of the game, adding new structures, enemies, gear, one new dimension and a magic system that’s not too complicated. A few mods also improve some other parts of the game, such as farming/cooking, decoration, general life improvements, and I’ve also included one tech mod: Create, since it is the only tech mod that actually tries to blend in with the base game. I wouldn’t call this modpack vanilla-like, but at the same time it doesn’t add any crazy features that look or feel nothing like minecraft.

Since this is the lite version of AdEx, the amount of mods has been minimalised to what I believe to be almost the minimum needed for a quintessential modded experience that significantly improves on the vanilla game. There are a few mods that could be considered redundant by this measure (Alex’s Delight, Delightful or Hunter Illager for example), but I didn’t feel like a difference of 10 mods would make that big of a difference in terms of performance. It also doesn’t include any client side mods so that you can easily make a server with it.

I have also thought on including Blue Skies, but so far I’m not too keen on it, as I think the Twilight Forest provides enough content in terms of a new dimension already (and Blue Skies is quite a big mod, so it would certainly take a toll on performance).
