This mod introduces a unique system for hiring specialized villagers for short, intense bursts of labor. The philosophy is simple: Hire them, give them the best tools, and get out of the way!
What Workers Offers
Workers allows you to contract two highly specialized villagers for a single, focused work session. The effectiveness of this mod comes from its utility for quick, bulk collection of core materials.
👷 The Specialists Currently Available:
The Miner (Stone/Ore Collector): This worker will relentlessly mine any Stone, Coal Ore, and Copper Ore within their working radius. Perfect for get your early-game resources again!
The Sander (Sand Collector): This worker focuses exclusively on collecting Sand (and Red Sand, if applicable) from the environment. Essential for all your glass and concrete needs!
Key Features: Maximize Output in 5 Minutes
The effectiveness of your workers depends entirely on your preparation:
- ⏱️ 5-Minute Contracts:
Once hired and given a task, your worker is dedicated to the job for exactly 5 minutes.
This is the perfect window for a powerful burst of targeted resource gathering without long-term base changes.
- ⛏️ Tool Power-Up:
Hand your worker any tool—from stone to netherite, even enchanted items (like Efficiency or Fortune)—to drastically increase their gathering speed and output.
The better the tool, the greater the yield in those five minutes!
- 🤝 Clean Break Promise:
When the 5 minutes are up, the worker disappears and always drops the tool they were using (as well as any materials they gathered).
Your valuable gear is safe; they are simply borrowing it for the job.
