Winter Falls

Description

Turn the entire Overworld into an eternal winter.

Select the “Winter Falls” world type when creating a new world to enable all winter mechanics.

Features

• It snows forever in the Overworld — the vanilla weather cycle is completely disabled;
• Snow accumulates naturally and gets thicker over time;
• All exposed water surfaces freeze into ice automatically;
• Dense winter fog during nighttime and snowy weather;
• No more sunrise/sunset colors — the sky takes on a pale wintery gray.
• Mob mechanics
  • Snow Golems: Spawn with a low chance in any biome; no longer die from weather or temperature;
  • Strays: Spawn with a chance in any biome; naturally spawned Skeletons have a chance to convert into Strays;
  • Polar Bears: Spawn with a low chance in any biome, usually as a family group (adults + cubs);
  • Foxes: Spawn with a low chance in any biome, always white Arctic foxes; low chance to spawn as a kit; adult foxes have a 15% chance to hold items in their mouth, kits have 35%;
  • Rabbits: Naturally spawned rabbits are always white；
  • Wolves: Naturally spawned wolves are always white.

• Whether to disable the vanilla weather cycle
• Snow accumulation check interval and probability
• Maximum snow layer thickness
• Spawn probability and count for all featured mobs
