_Wandering Villagers_ adds a rare chance for Villagers to appear near players, allowing villages to naturally form around player-built areas rather than necessitating kidnapping.
_Wandering Villagers_ can be toggled on and off at anytime with the gamerule _DoWanderingVillagers_.
