Volcano

Volcano lets you watch a volcano rise out of the ground and erupt. The terrain grows up to 100 blocks high, turning dirt and stone into jagged basalt. Once it reaches full height, the crater fills with lava and sends smoke and magma projectiles into the air.

Explosions near the crater are visual effects, so the eruption does not immediately destroy the volcano itself. Projectiles landing farther away damage blocks and start fires around the mountain.

Starting an eruption

Find a large open area and run /volcano activate, then move back. The event is triggered by the command.

Keep it away from buildings you want to save. Raising the mountain changes thousands of blocks and can damage the surrounding area. It can also put a heavy load on the server while the volcano is growing.
