Vice Skies

Take to the skies in six classic Vice City helicopters for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge. Vice Skies brings detailed airframes, animated rotors, cockpit seating, familiar sounds, and smooth flight to your world.

Fly the Maverick, VCN Maverick, Police Maverick, Hunter, Sparrow, and Sea Sparrow. Start the engine yourself, wait for the blades to spin up, then take off. Helicopters tilt as they accelerate, can hover in place, and show hull health on a compact flight HUD.

The Hunter has an articulated machine gun and missiles. The Police Maverick adds a machine gun, flashing lights, and a steerable searchlight; the Sea Sparrow carries a machine gun and floats on water. Mavericks have passenger seats and sliding rear doors, while the normal Maverick also offers paint schemes and RGB color controls.

An empty helicopter can take off and follow you. Press Z to raise its following height. Armed followers defend you against hostile targets you hit and return fire when attacked; press Y to cancel an attack and recall them. Damaged helicopters can catch fire, spin down, and leave a burnt wreck with flying debris.

Find all six aircraft in the Vice Skies creative tab. Key bindings can be changed in Minecraft’s Controls menu.
Requirements: Minecraft Java 1.20.1, Forge 47.3.0 or newer in the 47.x series, and Java 17. No additional mods are required. Multiplayer players and servers need the same mod version.
