Velorise Camera Lock-On

Smooth, action-game-style target lock-on, dynamic combat camera steering, projectile assistance, and third-person camera positioning for Minecraft.

Velorise Camera Lock-On is a lightweight, highly configurable client-side combat camera mod inspired by modern Action-RPGs (Zelda, Souls-like games). It introduces silky-smooth entity locking, predictive projectile aim, and over-the-shoulder third-person camera control without altering entity AI, attack reach, damage numbers, or vanilla server rules.

Key Features

Souls-Like Action Lock-On

Intuitive Target Acquisition: Lock onto any nearby hostile or passive entity with a single click, or let the smart raycast auto-lock engage when aiming near a target.
Fast Target Cycling: Press Tab to seamlessly switch between nearby targets or prioritize the closest threatening enemy.
Temporary Free Look: Moving your mouse temporarily lets you inspect your surroundings without breaking target lock; aim smoothly snaps back once mouse movement ceases.

Advanced Projectile Assistance

Predictive Trajectory Calculation: Predicts target movement velocity and gravity arc for bows, crossbows, tridents, and modded projectile weapons.
Auto Bow Controls: Optional auto-bow release and instant recharge toggles for fluid archery gameplay.
Visual Aim-Ray: Real-time trajectory prediction ray in third-person view.

Third-Person & Over-the-Shoulder Camera

Fully customizable third-person camera offsets (X, Y, Z axes) for an immersive over-the-shoulder action perspective.
Independent camera pull-strength sliders for first-person and third-person aiming modes.

Tactical Target Mini HUD

Clean, draggable on-screen HUD displaying target health, distance, armor, and real-time damage feedback.
Off-screen attacker warning indicators and optional auto-retargeting towards incoming threats.

Quick Start & Default Controls

Face a nearby living entity.
Press Middle Mouse Button to lock on.
Move mouse to look around temporarily (Temporary Free Look); stop moving to return focus to target.
Press Middle Mouse Button again to disengage lock-on.

(All keybindings can be fully customized in Minecraft’s standard Options ➔ Controls ➔ Key Binds menu)
