Monitor unusual movement patterns with checks designed to identify suspicious behavior, including:

⚔️ Combat Detection

Analyze combat behavior to help staff investigate possible combat cheats:

• Reach: Check attack distances using three-dimensional hit geometry and recent target-position history for lag compensation.

• Hitbox: Investigate attacks that appear inconsistent with expected target hitboxes.

• Attack Rate: Monitor unusually frequent attacks.

• Angle: Examine suspicious attack-angle behavior.

• Aim Consistency: Analyze repeated aiming patterns that may warrant further investigation.

📡 Protocol and Player Behavior

Additional checks monitor unusual player actions and packet behavior:

• Timer: Examine abnormal packet-frequency patterns.

• Invalid Rotation: Detect invalid rotation values, including non-finite values and impossible pitch angles.

• FastUse: Monitor potentially abnormal item-use behavior.

A single suspicious action should not automatically be treated as definitive proof of cheating. Detection results require context, especially when players experience latency or unusual in-game physics.

The /tac command suite provides tools for server administration and investigation, including:

Command access is subject to server-side permission validation.

🔐 Security-Focused Design

The mod is designed around server-side validation. Administrative actions require server-side authorization, and permission checks are intended to fail closed when authorization cannot be established.

An optional client-side diagnostic component is available for authorized testing. Client-provided information is not treated as trusted proof of whether a player is cheating.

No anti-cheat can guarantee detection of every cheat or eliminate every false positive. Server performance, latency, knockback, explosions, vehicles, elytra, potions, and block interactions can affect movement and combat observations.

Trimskit AntiCheat is intended to assist server staff—not replace their judgment. Review violations and consider the circumstances before taking action against a player.

🚀 Getting Started

1. Install the appropriate Fabric server environment for the supported Minecraft version.

2. Install Trimskit AntiCheat and any required dependencies.

3. Start the server and review the generated configuration, if applicable.

4. Check the available /tac commands and configure the mod for your server.

5. Test detection behavior before enabling automatic punishments, if supported by your build.
