Transfer Lens

See where your next Shift-click is expected to go. Hold Shift over an item in supported vanilla chest, barrel and shulker menus to highlight destination slots and see moved/remaining counts.

Read-only: no transfer changes, new keybinds, automatic actions or inventory packets. Uses currently synchronized inventory data and vanilla transfer rules. Server changes or plugins can make the eventual result differ. Unsupported menus intentionally show no preview.

Install on the client only: Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge, Java 21. No other mod required. No 26.3 release is available yet.

New beta; bugs may remain. Planner differential tests and packaged metadata/license checks passed. Actual 1.21.1 chest previews were visually checked against real Shift-click results in both directions, with clearing on Shift release. A separate read-only QA framebuffer capture addon was used for the preview screenshots; it did not fabricate input/rendering or modify inventory, and is not included in this release. This retest has not been repeated without that capture addon. Broader container, layout, server/plugin and modpack coverage is not exhaustive.

Original implementation and icon by RickCode’s authorized development workflow, MIT. No competitor code or assets copied. Internal MIT Before You Go build configuration reused. Vanilla transfer behavior was studied from locally available Minecraft/NeoForge sources; those sources are not redistributed.
