TradeHall Villager/Farm Optimizer

A client side mod that boosts your FPS in trade halls. If you keep a big crowd of villagers at your base, the game wastes a ton of resources drawing every single one of them, even the ones you can’t actually see. This mod simply stops rendering them until you need them. And it’s not just villagers: you can add any other entity you want and hide it the same way.

Everything runs on your client only. You don’t need it on the server, and it doesn’t touch trading or the villagers themselves in any way. They stay where they are and keep working like normal. The only thing that changes is whether they get drawn on your screen or not. The same goes for any custom entities you add.

Features

Smart hiding. The mod checks whether a villager is actually visible. If it’s fully hidden behind blocks (a wall, another building), its model and hitbox are not rendered. The moment you move so it comes back into view, it shows up again.

Distance hiding. You set a distance in blocks, and villagers farther than that won’t be drawn until you get closer. Great for big farms and trade halls where half the villagers are on the other side anyway.

Custom entities. Got a huge cow farm, a pile of armor stands, or a mob farm full of zombies? Add any entity to the list, including entities from other mods, and give it its own settings, exactly like villagers. Pick it from a dropdown with search (just start typing, e.g. “cow”), then choose smart hiding, distance hiding and the distance for that entity separately. Add as many as you like.

All features toggle separately, so you can keep only what you actually want.

Settings

Everything is configured through Mod Menu, no messing with config files by hand:

Turn the whole mod on or off
Smart hiding (behind blocks) on/off
Distance hiding on/off
Distance slider from 1 to 128 blocks
A separate toggle to apply all of this to wandering traders too
A custom entities list: add any entity and give it its own smart hiding, distance hiding and distance, with a separate on/off toggle for each one
