Totem of Recalling

This small mod adds the Totem of Recalling. Crafted with two ender pearls, a bottle o’ enchanting, two blaze rods, an end crystal and a piece of obsidian, this item allows you to return to your spawn point using experience levels.

Usage

To cast a recall, hold the Totem of Recalling, hold shift and right click.

The Totem of Recalling has no durability. A plain totem costs 10 experience levels to cast. You must stand still and wait 10 seconds to teleport. The totem is on a 20 minute cooldown. Luckily, you can enchant your totem to make it even more powerful!

In version >1.1.0: The Totem now becomes inactivated after using by default. You must infuse it with an Eye of Ender in a smithing table to reactivate it.

Enchantments

The Totem of Recalling can be enchanted with the following enchantments:

• Blinking (I, II, III): Reduce the wait time to teleport by 10% per level.
• Draconic Efficiency (I): Half the experience level cost per cast.
• Enderstep (I): Moving no longer cancels the recall.
• Rift Recovery (I, II, III) Reduce the totem’s cooldown by 10% per level.

These enchantments are treasure enchantments. They cannot be obtained from the enchanting table and can only be found in ancient cities.

Config Options

This mod is fully configurable, here are a list of config options to tune the mod to how you like to play. Note that these values are also changed by the enchantments listed above.

• Experience levels cost: Base amount of experience levels it costs to use the totem of recalling.
• Cooldown seconds: Base cooldown in seconds after using the totem of recalling.
• Wait seconds: Base seconds the player has to wait before teleporting.
• Require standing still: If true, moving during the wait time cancels the recall.
