Tool Harness is an unofficial compatibility port based on the original Tool Belt mod created by gigaherz / David Quintana, updated for Minecraft 26.3 and NeoForge.
The goal of Tool Harness is to preserve the original Tool Belt gameplay experience while updating its code and internal systems for modern Minecraft and NeoForge APIs.

Tool Harness is specifically adapted for Minecraft 26.3 and the current NeoForge environment.
Compared with the original project, this version:
- Ports the mod to Minecraft 26.3.
- Updates compatibility for NeoForge 26.3.
- Updates keyboard and mouse input APIs.
- Updates inventory and container APIs.
- Updates player inventory and item handling where required.
- Updates rendering APIs for Minecraft 26.3.
- Updates recipe and advancement compatibility.
- Preserves the original radial tool selection system.
- Preserves the original tool storage mechanics.
- Uses new project branding while retaining attribution to the original project.
Curios Compatibility
Curios integration is currently disabled in this port while waiting for compatible APIs for Minecraft 26.3.
Tool Harness remains fully usable without Curios integration.

Compatibility
Tool Harness is designed specifically for Minecraft 26.3 and NeoForge 26.3.
Some optional integrations available in previous versions of Tool Belt may not yet be available until their respective dependencies are updated for Minecraft 26.3.
