A clean, lightweight multi loader mod for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge that stops your tools and weapons from breaking and permanently disappearing.

Ever spent hours grinding Netherite, enchanting Fortune III, Efficiency V, and Mending, only to accidentally shatter your god tier pickaxe while strip mining? Tool Guard eliminates tool loss forever by locking your gear at 1 durability with clear alerts and optional sneak override!

⚔️ Current Features

1. Absolute Durability Protection 🛑

• 1 Durability Lock: When any tool or weapon (pickaxes, swords, axes, shovels, hoes, bows, fishing rods, etc.) reaches 1 durability, its breaking damage is completely negated.
• Accidental Use Lockout: Left clicking blocks, swinging at mobs, or right clicking with a 1 durability item is instantly cancelled to ensure the item cannot break by mistake.

2. Audio & Visual Alerts 🔔

• Actionbar Notification: Displays an instant, localized Actionbar message in chat displaying your tool’s exact name: [Tool Guard] <Tool Name> durability is 1! Locked to prevent breaking.
• Auditory Cue: Plays an immediate denial sound (UI click/deny cue) so you know instantly that your tool needs repair without having to constantly stare at your hotbar.

3. Emergency Sneak Override 🏃

• Intentional Break: Trapped in gravel, suffocating in obsidian, or need to break a block no matter what? Simply Hold Sneak (Shift) to override the lock and use the tool normally, even if it leads to breaking.

4. Zero Lag & Universal Compatibility ⚡

• Vanilla Mechanics: 100% compatible with Mending and Anvils—once repaired, your tools unlock automatically.
• Multiplayer Ready: Fully synchronized on both dedicated servers and singleplayer worlds without desyncs.

🚀 Planned Features

• Custom Durability Thresholds: Option to trigger locks at 5 or 10 durability instead of 1.
• Low Durability HUD Warning: Subtle screen vignette or icon warning when your held item reaches critical durability.
• Item Whitelist / Blacklist: Config file support to enable/disable protection for specific item IDs or modded tools.
