You, the player, are given 1 page at login. 1 page out of 11 possible pages, each page containing the knowledge over a different element.

Hydromancy = Water/Ice
Pyromancy = Fire/Lava
Ecomancy = Rocks/Earth/Nature
Aeromancy = Wind/Lightning
Mystomancy = General Magic
Lumomancy = Light/Healing Magic
Fluomancy = Dark/Curse Magic
Necromancy = Death Magic
Chronomancy = Time Magic
Celestomancy = Space Magic

The 11th page is known as the page of unbridled magic and it is exceptionally rare as it grants the user knowledge over all 10 elements.

The first page that you read will give you what is know as a natural affinity, a special set of passive abilities that you get based on the page you read
I think I did a good job at making them all neat in their own way
Regardless, in this mod, you can simply ignore it and let the magic you find come to you, or you can work with the mod in the goals of being the best Tomemancer you can be by finding all of the pages and spells throughout the world.
As yea, in order to get more magic, you have to find it.
It’s experience based in the way that in order to cast certain spells, you need a certain amount of experience to do so
