Since no one had yet created a version of “The Torture” mod ported to 1.20.1, I decided to make it myself!

<What is the Torture?>

“The Torture” appears on the surface and in caves at night. At first, it stares intently at the player from behind cover or from a distance, or prowls around the player, inflicting psychological damage. If the player makes eye contact with this creature, it will charge toward them at breakneck speed amid terrifying ambient sounds and chase music. If you’re caught, it will tear you to pieces; to avoid being caught and killed, we recommend staying inside at night.
